Join Us in Shaping Chelmsford’s Cultural Future
Are you passionate about championing creativity, community, and meaningful cultural change?
We’re looking for an experienced Events Producer to deliver a new Gaming Fringe Festival for Chelmsford, Playable Worlds, as part of Anglia Ruskin University’s Chelmsford Science Festival 2026.
Rather than technical expertise, we are looking for curiosity and excitement about gaming, and the power of gaming to bring young people and communities together and engage people in exciting career opportunities through science, technology and the arts.
If you have an established practice in co-creation and are ready to collaborate with families, young people, students, industry experts and communities across the city, we’d love to hear from you. We welcome applications from individuals or groups who can demonstrate how they would meet the role specification.
Successful applicants will be invited to interview on 8th or 11th June 2026. We aim to let people know if they are successful by 15th June 2026.
The application shortlisting and interview stages will be conducted by a panel of Spark! young people, Culture Chelmsford staff and local partners.
Please apply by Midnight on Sunday 31 May 2026.
We encourage applicants to speak to us first before submitting your application, please contact us at hello@culturechelmsford.org.uk to arrange a time to speak with Liz.
