Cultural Connectors
Cultural Connectors are a trusted network of local people who bring communities together to champion and influence decision making about arts and culture in Chelmsford.
They lead the way in making decisions about Chelmsford’s creative future, helping to shape what happens across the city. Together, they share ideas, try out new things, and guide which creative projects take place in Chelmsford. By working with them, we support new community projects that help Chelmsford grow, stay connected, and become an even more welcoming place for everyone.
Celebrating Our Cultural Connectors
Chelmsford’s Cultural Connectors have come together to make something really special happen.
Working side by side, they’ve shaped how we listen to and work with local people, and agreed how they’ll work together as a strong, supportive team. They’ve helped Culture Chelmsford welcome new voices onto the board, so it better reflects the many different people who call Chelmsford home.
They’ve also joined forces with Spark! to reach communities right across the district. Through the Young Cultural Changemakers programme, they’ve helped young people grow in confidence, learn new skills, and take the lead in creative projects that bring people together.
Thanks to their energy, care, and imagination, Chelmsford is becoming an even more creative, welcoming, and connected place to live.
